Country/Region of Manufacture: United States
This canoe is approximately 20 feet long. It is made of aramid fiber. Seats and crossmembers are in excellent condition, and there is a place on the sides of the canoe for small tires to be attached to make it easier to move it without sliding it along the ground. There is a large gash, approximately 4 to 6 feet in length, along the left portion of the center hull. See pictures 3, 4, and 5 for a visual understanding of the size and depth of this gash.
It goes all the way through. This canoe is not currently seaworthy. End caps in good condition, metal rim going all about the top of the craft is in good condition with normal wear. The aramid fiber rib that spans the length of the craft is in good condition, not having been gashed clear in two. The only place there is a large gash is where it is pictured, in pictures 3, 4, and 5.
Anyone who can patch a kevlar canoe should peruse this listing. Solid construction, but I'm marking it at a low buy it now price with offers accepted local pickup. This would be an ideal purchase for someone who would like to repair the canoe. If this auction expires, it is likely that I will repair the canoe and list it as seaworthy. Thanks.
