Vintage Antique Canoe

This is a very old canoe...No markings to identify the manufacture. Weight about 60 pounds10 feet stem to stern 31 inches across the beam, middle part of canoePainted canvas over a wood frameWill need another coat of paint to be functional...Last paint job was over 50 years ago. Here is the History of this canoe as I know it... It was purchased used and old by my grandmother in the 1940's . They lived in Walnut Creek California. My father rowed the canoe down Main Street during the Walnut Creek flood of 1958, before they had flood control in the city.

The canoe sat in my Grandmothers garage until 1978, at which point it sat in my Dad's garage until now. Would love to keep it. But I am in a townhouse and cannot store it. Great restoration project, or just fun for paddling in a lake...Its old and tipsy, so not good for rivers with any sort of turbulence...
